Our programs are loosely based on the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. The Reggio Emilia approach is an educational philosophy focused on early childhood education emphasizing the child as strong, capable, and full of potential. It views children as active learners who construct their own knowledge through exploration, inquiry, and relationships within a rich and stimulating environment. The approach originated in Reggio Emilia, Italy, after World War II, and is characterized by its emphasis on respect, responsibility, and community involvement

These are typically programs where parents play a significant role in the classroom, helping the teacher and contributing to the school's administration. Parents often share responsibilities like teaching, cleaning, or fundraising. The goal is to create a more involved and community-focused learning environment for young children.

Each family is obligated to spend one day in the classroom each week (ideally less depending on enrollment). There are also monthly parent education meetings that are expected to be attended and guarterly clean-up days.
Testimonials
This is a marvelous and innovative place that is in a class of it's own! It has long proven to be a premier source for learning, growth, nurturing and inspiration, within and for, it's entire community of families, children, teachers, volunteers and administrators. I know whereof I speak...both of my grandchildren have really thrived and benefited immensely from their rich and varied experiences there, including my granddaughter who has Special Needs.
We have attended this school for several years now and are constantly impressed by the individual attention each learner is given. This school works hard to nurture not only children, but families and community as well. Children are gently guided in the practices of kindness and gratitude beginning at the tender age of three. Love of learning is fostered daily. This school is an amazing treasure hidden away in Clark County.
I am so thankful to have found this school-I wish we had enrolled sooner. It is not only a supportive community for my kids to grow but also a place I feel supported as a parent trying to navigate life with littles. The co-op allows me to be involved and also gives them the opportunity to have space away from me so they can learn from others in a fun environment. I am looking forward to watching my kids blossom as time goes on and enjoy all the time I get to spend trying to help the other kids, and school, grow. I can not recommend this place enough!
